Meet the Ishango girl, Alice, Sonia Kovalevskaya, Emmy Noether, Sarah Sherry, Lea Schleiermacher, Mae West, and Sasha Novikova.  Join renowned German mathematician Günter M. Ziegler as he presents seven images of mathematicians--two of them are highly respected mathematicians, three of them are currently students, one of them was bad at math, two of them are works of art, two of them are quite well known, and one of them is the first mathematician we know of ... and they all let us wonder about what mathematicians do, what mathematicians can do, and whether math is a girls' world after all. This talk is designed for teenagers, but children over 11 are permitted to attend.
