Robin Wilson - Lewis Carroll in Numberland (4:00 pm)

Registration is closed for this event

If Charles Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll) hadn’t written the Alice books, he’d probably be remembered as a pioneer Victorian photographer.  But if he’d not been remembered for this, would he be remembered as a mathematics teacher at Oxford University?  What mathematics did he do?  And how good was he?  Join UK mathematician Robin Wilson as he takes us on an illustrated journey through the looking glass, exploring math, puzzles, logic... and even monkeys!
